Description

SLA Time Tracker – Stay on top of your workload deadlines SLA Time Tracker is a lightweight Chrome extension designed for developers and support teams who need to monitor job turnaround times against strict SLA's. With a simple popup interface, you can track job start times, calculate elapsed time, and see estimated completion dates that automatically respect your working hours (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, weekdays only). The extension features persistent storage so your timers and job data remain available even after restarting Chrome. You can adjust SLA durations, receive deadline reminders, and quickly check if a workload is at risk of breaching its SLA. Built with flexibility in mind, SLA Timer Tracker also supports manual SLA adjustments, one-click job tracking, and clear visualization of deadlines—all while keeping setup effortless. It allows users to: - Input workload tasks - Track SLA start times, agreed durations, and time taken - Display estimated task completion dates - Count down SLA time only during working hours, automatically pausing outside work hours and weekends Features - Workload Parsing – Copy-paste tab-separated tasks to populate the table. - SLA Countdown – Tracks remaining SLA time respecting work hours. - Estimated End Date – Automatically calculates the task’s projected completion date/time. - Persistent Storage – Saves task data locally using `chrome.storage.local`. - Reset Button – Clears all tasks and resets the timer. - Clipboard Copy – Double-click a workload row to copy task details instantly. - Add SLA – Adjust SLA durations directly with the SLA button. - QC Button – Generates a formatted summary of tasks (sent for QC) and copies it to the clipboard. - Visual Highlighting – Selected workload row is highlighted for clarity. - Notifications & Alerts – Chrome notifications appear when SLA deadlines approach (1 hour, 30 minutes, and 5 minutes warnings). - Popup Alerts – SLA warning triggers a popup window for immediate visibility. - Version Display – Shows extension version number inside the popup footer. Usage 1. Paste workload tasks (tab-separated) into the input area. 2. Click Parse to generate the task table. 3. Select a task and click Start to begin SLA tracking. 4. Use SLA to adjust SLA durations if needed. 5. Use QC to copy a formatted task summary for QC handoff. 6. Double-click a row to copy its details to clipboard. 7. Click Reset to clear all data and restart. 8. The timer and estimated end date update automatically based on working hours. 9. Receive notifications and popups as SLA deadlines approach.
