Description

A 5-minute breathing and gratitude exercise to reset your mind. One click away from your browser toolbar. Detailed Description: 5-Minute Mental Reset is a simple browser-based tool for taking a mental break during your workday. Click the extension icon and you'll be guided through two rounds of paced breathing (about 2 minutes total), followed by three gratitude prompts. The whole experience takes roughly 5 minutes. An animated circle expands and contracts to guide your breath; the screen dims as you reflect on what you're grateful for; and at the end you'll receive a gentle affirmation. What's included: Two rounds of box breathing with visual guidance (inhale, hold, exhale, hold) Three gratitude prompts to help shift your focus Calming visuals and celebratory animations Skip buttons if you only want the gratitude exercise Works entirely offline with no data collection The breathing pattern is based on research into breath pacing for stress reduction. Round 1 uses shorter intervals; Round 2 extends the breath for deeper relaxation. Built by Sam Liberty, a game designer and behavioral researcher who writes about designing for wellbeing. No account required. No tracking. Just a quick reset when you need one.
