Dr. Edward B. Fry's Instant Words are the most common words used in English ranked in order of frequency. Parents and teachers of elementary school students usually use this list to push kids to study must-have vocabulary. The app is designed to help parents guide Fry vocabulary studying. 1000 Fry words are categorized into 10 grades. Each grade has 100 words and is listed in 4 groups. A word is shown as word card. Users can write and save definitions for words from grade 4 to 10. The app also offers a built-in lookup to get word definitions from online resources. For words in grade 1 to 3, each word has 3 sample usages: phrase or sentence. The app includes exercises for each group to keep word building funny.
