This piece is about playing with creativity, human collaboration, and how revisiting your inner child can lead to wonderful new beginnings. The characters are surrounded by geometric objects that represent playfulness and curiosity, traits that are inherent to us no matter our stage of life. Kanioko (he/they) is a Brazilian artist and illustrator. They are driven to tell stories for people who didn't grow up with the representation they felt they deserved. Their work is mostly character-focused, with humorous and quirky genderless personas, exploring themes such as queerness, identity, daily events, and nostalgia.
