Description

Web Name Highlighter makes it easy to spot the names and keywords that matter most to you as you browse. Whether you’re scanning an article, reviewing a document, or searching online, it automatically highlights custom terms in your choice of colors so they stand out instantly. You can organize names and keywords into groups, give each group its own highlight and text colors, and even collapse or expand groups to keep things tidy. For names, the extension automatically generates smart variants—like J Smith, J. Smith, John Smith, Smith, J, and Smith, John—so you don’t have to think of every possible format. Hover over a highlight to see which group it belongs to at a glance. Import large name lists from CSV files, add or edit entries directly in the popup, and see your changes applied to the page immediately. Whether you’re a researcher, recruiter, journalist, or just keeping track of specific terms, Web Name Highlighter helps you work faster and stay focused by bringing the right words to the foreground.
