We do not store IP addresses (they are cryptographically hashed for spam prevention). The extension only looks at public username and location data. How it works: The extension uses a smart 3-step lookup system (Local Cache -> Community Cloud -> Twitter API) to find locations without slowing down your browsing or hitting rate limits.
